Originally opened in 1991 by Michael and Anne Marie Hennessey as an antique store with a small café corner, the business evolved into a full-fledged restaurant renowned for its eclectic décor, creative menu, and warm ambiance. The café is named after Casper, a white German shepherd who roamed the store during its early days.
