Today was a big day in the world of Mergers & Acquisitions. Fortune 50 Companies were merging to gain synergy and improve channel growth. And it occurred to me that the same opportunity exists for small business as well.
All too often Small Business Owners spend their time slugging it out between each other and in the process never scale. They spend energy and resources in the singular growth of their business only through revenue and customer acquisition.
Ad Spend and Personnel Costs can be astronomical and when summed up over the long-term amounts to massive capital.
Just think about it….imagine how you margins could improve internally if you were a landscaper and you were able to open a nursery or sod distributor. Your margins would improve as you would be wholesaling your own product. Or what would happen if you were a restaurant fighting for customers and share of stomach due to your geographic draw limits…what would happen if you added a food truck to your business bringing the food to the customer in other markets distant from your location.
