A couple of days ago i was having a party celebrating my wife’s graduation and one of my guests was my financial planner. The usual chit chat occurred and I shared my views on my market place and the baby boomer dynamic. He smiled a bit and said “on that topic we do need to meet and re position as the market will be making an adjustment in the next quarter or two.” File that!
Then yesterday a banker called me from a large national bank (we get these calls as they are always trying to drum up business). He also was talking about the need to have some urgency as there will be a interest rate adjustment and the free flowing money will dry up. His words not mine.
Now taken alone I would not pay it much mind but in synergy with what i see in my sphere of influence, what my friend in the financial market sees, and this banker I have known for decades. Well suffice it to say it warrants attention.
Business and Life is like Chess….inaction will have an impact as much as action.
