Book Smarts vs Street Smarts

Street Smarts or Book Smarts. When it comes to the small business world I will take a seasoned entrepreneur every time. Particularly nowadays.  Unfortunately we are in somewhat of a transition period when the college degree is not equipping students for a business world changing at a speed unseen before.  That is not to say college eduction is unimportant. But when it comes to survival on the street it takes speed and quick reactions to survive.

I’ve known a lot of MBA’s in my life and let me tell you ….any day of the week I will take the sales pro that knows people and connects….the guy or gal that uses intuition, humor, and the personal connection to get the deal done.
