M&A Transactions In the Current Economy

June 11, 2020 by Michael Shea PA

The Deal Board hosts Andy Cagnetta and Jessica Fialkovich interview M&A experts Sunil Shenoy and Peter Berg to talk about M&A transactions in the current economy.

Large deals north of 10 million dollars get pretty dicey and nuanced. You need to understand the objectives of the buyers.  How they are structured and what the expectations are in process and outcome. The key to holding your value from beginning to end is in driving competition to your deal. One buyer means leverage is equal. In deal-making, you need to be fair but being vulnerable is not a position of strength.
