Ecommerce and Lessons from a Teen on how to make money

August 6, 2020 by Michael Shea PA

Ecommerce is real. We all buy from Amazon and websites every day and you have to live under a rock to not be aware of how many people sell stuff online. But day in and day out I meet business owners who do not leverage e-commerce for incremental sales, for brand development and for insulating their business from the vagaries of the market…like Covid 19.

“Life moves fast” as Ferris Bueller says and business owners need to move faster to stay ahead and protect their businesses from changing markets. The internet is nothing new yet time and time again we see businesses with out web presence, ecommerce platforms, and community relations with their customers.

It is a vital mistake we seeing be played out right before our eyes and small business owners and leaders need to leveage all the tools to drive relationships with customers, convenience, and sales.

I took some time to talk to my daughter about her lessons learned on her etsy store and how she is growing sales and shifting her business to the needs of the market.

Many lessons learned here.
